Voices of Alchemy

Voices of Alchemy weaves together singing, somatics, conscious touch, circle, and ceremonial group process to create profound experiences of beauty, connection, belonging, emotional healing, and vocal freedom.

You do not need to be a singer to participate in this work. Vocal Alchemy is a freeing and accessible exploration of the voice that anyone can enter into.

Voices of Alchemy facilitates deep and unending explorations, into the voice and human connection. There is no final destination and no two circles are ever the same. Each gathering becomes a living, emergent experience, shaped by the unique constellation of people who enter the circle and what arises between us.

Four Foundational Elements

Voices of Alchemy is built upon four simple yet powerful foundations.

Voice

Humanity's oldest instrument of expression and belonging. Across cultures and generations, we have used our voices to pray, grieve, celebrate, create, heal, and invoke the sacred.

In Voices of Alchemy, the voice becomes a pathway into expression, embodiment, connection, and transformation. Through singing, sounding, listening, and improvisation, we explore what becomes possible when the voice is freed from performance and allowed to become something more instinctive, relational, and alive.

You do not need to be a singer to open to the magic and beauty of your voice!

Circle

A space of witnessing, connection, and belonging. We are profoundly relational beings, and there are places within us that can only be met and transformed in relationship.

The circle creates a field of presence where we can see and be seen, hear and be heard, offer and receive. As trust grows, the presence of the group becomes part of the practice itself … amplifying courage, connection, expression, and the experience of belonging to something larger than ourselves.

Conscious Touch

(Always optional. Always with consent.)

Touch reaches places words cannot. When offered with presence and care, touch can communicate support, tenderness, connection, and belonging.

Within Voices of Alchemy, conscious touch becomes another language of relationship… a way of accompanying one another, deepening presence, and allowing the body to experience being met and supported.

Ceremony

The art of creating meaning from ordinary experience. Ceremony invites us to slow down, become present, and recognize that something significant is taking place.

Through intention, beauty, symbolism, and shared participation, we create a container that allows an experience to become a deep and transformational container.

Singing together is one of humanity's oldest expressions of belonging. Across cultures and throughout history, people have gathered in song to celebrate, grieve, pray, welcome new life, honour death, and strengthen the bonds of community.

  • Tatiana’s song circles are held in a container of beauty, gentleness, and warm presence. We gather with women, and have permission to explore and play with our voices, in a safe space where no note is "wrong", and everything is welcome.   • As a young girl I was told I was tone deaf so couldn’t get a lead singing role in the musicals. I was also told I talked a lot so I learned to hold my tongue.  Although over the years I expressed myself through movement, coaching, community capacity building and conversation circles, coming together in a sacred singing circle with strangers created a freedom and liberty for the frogs in my throat to croak.  Thank you for creating space for me and my first small singing solo, dry and raspy, and just right!
