Women’s Ceremonial Choir
A devotional singing circle for ceremony, healing, and rites of passage
The Women’s Ceremonial Choir is not a traditional performance choir, but a devotional gathering where women come together to explore the voice as a sacred instrument of healing and remembrance.
Rooted in sisterhood and communion with the Divine Feminine, we sing to mark life’s passages, honour endings and beginnings, and offer our voices as blessing — for ourselves, for our community, and wherever we are called to serve.
The Power of singing in Sisterhood
Across cultures and generations, women have gathered to sing — to heal, pray, grieve, celebrate, and invoke the sacred. Singing together stirs something ancient and primordial within us, reconnecting us with the wisdom of our ancestors and the feminine lineages that have been lost or silenced.
Sound is vibration, and vibration is a powerful force of transformation. Through toning, humming, and chanting, we calm the nervous system, invite the release of held emotion, and allow energy to move through the body.
In a world that has long constrained feminine expression, many women have learned to make their voices small, quiet, or pleasing, rather than wild, free and sovereign.
With the Women’s ceremonial choir- singing together in this safe and supportive space becomes an act of joy, reclamation, and remembrance of who we are.
The Practice of Vocal Alchemy
At the heart of the Women’s Ceremonial Choir is the practice of Vocal Alchemy — working with voice to create living sonic landscapes that support healing, embodiment, and transformation.
Through sounding, toning, and sacred feminine chants from traditions around the world, our voices together become a living, breathing field of transformation - here, breakthroughs unfold through the coherence and love the group field amplifies and supports.
Ceremony, Healing, and the Sacred Use of Voice
The Women’s Ceremonial Choir is devoted to creating sacred containers where voice is used intentionally and reverently to facilitate experiences of healing and transformation.
In these ceremonial spaces, grief may surface, joy may arise, memories may stir, and long-held emotional or somatic layers may soften and release.
Each ceremony is guided by deep attunement — to the individual, to the group, and to what is unfolding in the moment. In this way, sound becomes a form of prayer, blessing, and communal/collective healing.
The Vision for the
Women’s Ceremonial Choir
The vision for the Women’s Ceremonial Choir extends beyond personal practice. This choir is being shaped as a living body of service — a collective of women trained to hold ceremonial sound with presence, and devotion.
We envision offering voice and ceremony in service of women across the many thresholds of life, including:
Rites of passage for girls and young women
Ceremonies honouring the stages of womanhood — Maiden, Mother, Matriarch, and Crone
Postpartum sound care and nourishment for new mothers
Ceremonial support for women in deep grief, loss, or transition
Palliative and end-of-life sound accompaniment
Offerings within women’s centres, healing spaces, and community gatherings
Wherever else we are called to serve
This is not only work for ourselves, but a commitment to the wider community. As the choir matures, we envision carrying these songs outward — radiating the wisdom and of the feminine voice as an act of service and blessing.

Important Note
Due to the depth of this work, there is an interview process for joining the Women’s Ceremonial Choir. No vocal experience is required; however, the ability to be present, attuned to the group field, and to hold space with care if deeper layers arise is important.
I also offer a regular drop-in series as a training pathway into the choir for those who wish to build familiarity with the work first.
